Trip to Bhima-Shankar on Bike

On last Monday-Tuesday we guys decided to visit Bhimashankar which was around 150km from Pune on bike. Everyone was okay but many of them were not sure like me. Friday came guys were planing but i was busy with my work & my Boss told that i should come at office on next day. I said okay n later asked him i'll stay late night n try to finish work but please don't say i have to come on Saturday. My TL & Boss agreed. Finally i left office with my Boss around 11:30pm. He asked me how are u going to home i told i need your bike, he replied take my bicycle, i replied i stay 10 KM away from office so i can't. He went to home & brought his bike. He solved my 2 problems one to go home & other one to come at 6am at Karve Nagar. It was Ganesh Chaturthi i had fast & went to my one of the uncles home & had dinner around 12:30am. After that i went back to home & slept around 1:30am. At 5:27am Pritam bhaisaab called me. After 3-4 hrs sleep i woke & got ready to reach Karve Nagar. I Went to Arjun sir's flat my jacked was kicking my as* so solved that issue first, called other guys & lived Karve Nagar around 6:30am with Mukta & Vishnu. Guys were already decided to meed at Nashik Phata. We joined Pritam-Kunal & Rohan-Bhagashree. Our journey stared towards Bhimashakar on Nashik highway.

It was very cold in air but we enjoyed driving. We all wanted to have a cup of tea but Arjun sir was telling if u want to have good tea then drive for 20-25 min. I was thinking "yaar kab ye 20-25 min khatan honge & i guess everyone was thinking same". Finally we had tea & b'fast, tea was good. It was my turn to drvie Pritams bike, i was quite excited so i was driving his bike faster than others & missed the road, ha ha ha. I was not there to see Arjun sir's face but could image his reaction. We were getting late so me n Pritam decided to go after everyone. Roads are quite curvy & in bad condition but still everyone was driving above 75kmph. Pritam's bike was not in better condition so i was driving slowly.

I stopped bike for fuel & i was driving bike slowly so me n Pritam thought we missed the road again. So i was asking everyone on the road, does this road leads to Bhima-Shankar. Once we crossed Rohan we got that we are with guys. In the middle of one of the hill, all others were waiting. Then we had chat & photo session. After 1-2 hours we reached Bhima-Shankar. We had Bhagwan Bhima-Shankar's Darshan. Its one of the 12 Jotirling.
We had time so we decided to visit Gupt Bhima-Shankar. The Shiv-ling is in forest. It was very good experience. We were walking in forest, no one was on the way becides us & lots of birds voice. We could listen birds but we couldn't seen. Every one was quite scared. Almost we all missed the road where two roads leads but thank god my eyes suddenly went on a very small board which indicates Gupt-Bhimashankar's way n we follow that way. After half-an-hour we reached the place. That place was so silent & i really want to stay over there. "Aare mera to nikalne ka man hi naahi ho raha tha." We seated around 2-3 hours & had a very amazing chats. "Har ek khichi ha ha ha i still remember". When we started towards main temple, there was no scare in mind. Arjun sir n me decided that some other day will come with books & spend a whole day in forest.

After that we came back to the main temple & stopped at Omkar hotel which is a on the road. I mentioned hotel's name cause food was very delicious. You will get only Maharashtrian veg food but really it's so testy. When Arjun asked every one what like to have every was okay with Maharasthiran thali besides Pritam n me. I ordered Pitaala-Bhakri & Pritam who is from Foreign(Bihar) not aware of Maharashatrian food also decided to have Pitaala Bhakri. When we got our dishesh, Maharashtrian thali dekh ke Pritam ki hawas(ha ha ha.. hawas) badh gayi & he ordered thali for him. I bet you in Pune you won't get such delicious food. "वांग्याची भाजी तर एक्कच नंबर ". Now you will say i ordered Pitaali-Bhakri & how comes Bringal in it. Actaully what happened Mukta & Bhagyashi doesn't like it. So i took that from their dish. We had 'Taak' after lunch.

Five stars to this hotel. After having delicious food we started towards Pune. When we come at Rajguru Nagar i heard one bad news from my family & my mood became off. At the end trip was very good & had a quality time with friends. You can see some pics here
