Life at Tekdi Web Solution..

I was working at Diligent Technologies from last 5 months & suddenly company owner decided to shut down company. He told all employee that he is shutting down in next month so better to look for another job in coming days. I got call from Agile Technologies, selected & got joining letter. After 2-3 days got a call from consultancy regarding the job opening at Tekdi Web Solution. Tekdi is located at Karve Nager which is very near from my home as compared to Agile so decided to attend interview. It was Ashwin sir who took the interview & selected me. Finally decided to join tekdi instead of Agile.

Joined Tekdi on 11th March, Guru sir introduced with everyone. I seated at room 2 for 2-3 days, later shifted to Deepak sir's room. Initially i was studying those Joomla concept which i never studied. That time was very diffcult & environment was totally new, so i was getting bored but my colleague Amit Mahalak helped me to get used with the situation, he became my first & best friend at Tekdi. Deepak sir's room is strict(in the sense professional) as compared to other rooms its my experience after 8 months & moving in all rooms. It was going difficult for me one more person Arjun sir helped & suggest me in every situation. He is very friendly with me & always ready to help.

I started working under Guru sir. This name i never forget who helped me at every situation from basics to advanced. His nature is very good, always ready to help everyone without expectations. One more thing about him i found is that he motivates his teammates effectively. I work under Guru sir who seats at another room. Everyone at tekdi helped me like Deepak sir, Archana, Madhura, Vaibhav, Sagar n list goes on.

When were the crucial days for me at Tekdi...? Guru sir(my TL) went on leave for his marriage at that time i was the only person working on a wine-based site. I didn't even know the flow of site as well( what site does & who's who). This time i worked under Ashwin sir directly, whenever i go to his cabin my foots started shivering & feels that i was in HOD's cabin. I never forget how Ashwin sir explained me flow of the site by giving an example of haywards 5k & 10k. Every one was ready to help me but know one was worked on extension's on which i was working & to explain what i wanted to do was very difficult cause i also had confusion. That time Harshal sir helped me a lot as he worked on design part of the site. Daily i used to leave office after 8pm cause Vic said something at morning & evening. After office when i reach at home i used to check my tekdi mail account & see what new tasks were Vic has added & updated. When Guru sir joined then i took a sigh of relief even after work was going on but under Guru sir instead of Ashwin sir is always good.

At tekdi i worked on many joomla extensions like Jomsocial which is adpoted by Tekdi(seen almost every project) Sobi2, JReviews Chronoforms & many more. I wanted to work on TechJoomla's products as well & finally got opportunity in Isportconnect worked on Invitex & JmailAlerts. Worked on socialads in Infoit. Whenever i got problem in Invitex, Vaishali who seats upstairs, she directly used to come at my desk to help me out. I am quite dull when it comes to designing part so whenever i got problem KK(Kirti Kumar) was always ready to help me.

One day i was working on some template & at noon got Ashwin sir pinged to me that it looks good. I showed it to Arjun sir like i got a medal. At evening again Ashwin sir pinged me & told that template is not looking good so make it better. I told Arjun sir again but i didn't think too much on this cause sometimes it happens on what client wants.

Enjoyed Joomla day, got many things to learn. Celebration of Tekdi foundation day at Wonder Funky was great fun(read more). Later visited Tahmi Ghat with all tekdians(read more). It was great experience. Those small parties by tekdians was good cause to listen name of those foods was amazing like DilBahar, Chandrakala..! & last but not least sharing food at the time of having lunch always remind me my childhood days. Photo session with Sonali Kulkarni & dinner at harvest club was delicious. Chatting with KK, Pritam, Yogesh, Rohan during lunch time was a great fun. The bus no 78 & some beautiful girls i'm gonna miss it.

Impressed with down to earth personality of Ashwin sir & Parth sir. One more important thing about TWS, i think its the only IT company where no one smokes at least in office time doesn't it mean they might have after office. Really its not a joke Industry where girl's doesn't care about smoke n drink you won't get such company. One bad think about tekdian's is that everyone thinks that only he/she has difficult & lots of work but the fact is that in tekdi everyone has same kinda work. Tekdi needs a dedicated hardware engineer, Parth sir & Ashwin sir are best when it comes to hardware but every time to tell them doesn't looks good.

At the end it was my pleasure that i got a chance to work in a TWS. I would like to thank & good luck to all my colleagues & tekdi/techjoomla web solution. Well i hope will meet whole team at least in coming joomla day's in pune.
